Our Mission

We exist to unleash the power of women to lead the movement for human-centred business through community, education and events.

The customer experience (CX) and technology industry is full of talented women. However, their male peers are more visible, three times more likely to become a manager, and almost nine times more likely to become a director.

Our goal is to bring women together to nurture, support and inspire one another with the help of industry leading thought-leadership and resources to equip them to progress and succeed in business and beyond.

By doing so, we aim to bridge the skills gap and equalise gender seniority in CX and technology where women are significantly underrepresented in positions of power. This way we can positively impact the future of business, customer and employee experience.

The obstacles—whether rooted in gender, ethnicity, or other biases—are persistent, and the stakes are higher than ever. But here’s the truth: women are uniquely equipped to lead CX and technology into the future. 

We work to continue breaking barriers, pushing boundaries, and advocating for ourselves, our colleagues, and our customers.

With anti-progress rhetoric on the rise, it’s more critical than ever to double down on efforts that empower women and drive meaningful change. Because now is not the time to pause. 

At Women in CX, we’re not just joining the conversation on diversity, equity and inclusion—we’re leading it.

With the growing backlash against DEI initiatives, the progress we’ve fought so hard for is under threat.

As companies pull back on DEI and the conversation around equity becomes increasingly polarised, the progress we’ve made is at risk. At the current rate, it will take 133 years to reach gender parity, which means we all have serious work to do.
