  • Absolutely not! I worked in CX for years before I had CX in my job title. All you need is a desire to want to make the world a better place for customers and employees and the belief that by doing so, organisations can be better and deliver better results.

    Our member’s job titles include Service Designer, User Researcher, Customer Service Manager, Customer Success Lead, Improvement Officer, Product Owner, Head of Marketing, the odd Chief Customer Officer and even a few CEOs!

  • Quite simply, no. Many of our members work in marketing, customer success, operations, product development, research and even HR. So many women are impacting experiences and driving human-centred approaches from the ground up in organisations that haven’t quite ‘got it’ yet. All are welcome here!

  • Not at all. The purpose of the community is to invite women from all stages of their careers to share a space so that they can learn from one another. As such a diverse community already, we have groups and content designed for everyone! You’re guaranteed to find what you need and feel welcome and included from day one.

  • Men are welcome to join the wider community and can sign up at the bottom of the page to receive content, news and attend events like our monthly WiCX panel debate.

    Inner Circle membership is only for those who identify as a woman or non-binary.

    Allies who wish to provide greater support are welcome to share their expertise as we frequently host men who want to support women at our guest webinars.

  • Many of our members pay for their subscription and claim it back in expenses. However, if your employer would prefer an invoice and to pay directly, we can arrange that too. Just email meg@womenincx.community to request this.

  • Fear not, we are absolutely committed to equity, diversity and inclusion so offer a social pricing policy to support women living in developing countries, making membership subscription half of the regular price. This offer is also open to women working in the third sector or charities whose companies may not be able to afford to support their development. We also offer a limited number of completely free 3 month scholarships for women who are either not in any form of employment or are in full-time education. Our application process will help you check your eligibility. Just fast-forward to the bottom of the page for more details.

  • Absolutely! Our self-employed members are part of a thriving sub-community called the ‘Solopreneurs Corner’, they meet regularly to share what’s happening and to support one another. There have already been so many amazing collaborations taking place where members are winning new business and referring one another for leads. Collaboration is beating competition hands down over here!

  • We have a clear set of guidelines that enable us to keep our community a safe, positive and healthy place to be and to ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone.
