With the growing backlash against DEI initiatives, the progress we’ve fought so hard for is under threat.
At Women in CX, we’re not just joining the conversation on diversity, equity and inclusion—we’re leading it. Building on the theme of International Women’s Day 2025, Accelerate Action, we’re pushing forward, sparking change, and making a real impact. For us, it’s all about Empowering Women in CX and Technology.
March 8th may have been and gone, but we’re determined to ensure we continue the momentum around the world. So far, we have held WiCX Micro Retreat events in London, Amsterdam, Dubai, Lisbon and Ridyah to uplift and champion the amazing women in our industry.
Building on the success of these events, we’re excited to bring the format to the USA for our first-ever pop-up event at CXPA Leaders Advance 2025, to give you the much-needed safe space to connect in the solidarity of community.
Why this matters
As companies pull back on DEI and the conversation around equity becomes increasingly polarised, we risk moving backwards.
The obstacles—whether rooted in gender, ethnicity, or other biases—are persistent, and the stakes are higher than ever. Women still make up 70% of the CX workforce but hold only 30% of management roles. But here’s the truth: Women are uniquely equipped to lead CX and technology into the future.
We work to continue breaking barriers, pushing boundaries, and advocating for ourselves, our colleagues, and our customers.
With anti-progress rhetoric on the rise, it’s more critical than ever to double down on efforts that empower women and drive meaningful change. Because now is not the time to pause.
