‘To New Beginnings’, by Sabine Groven.

This week marks a new chapter for me as I step into the role of Head of Content at Women in CX. And just like that, team WiCX grew by 33%! It's a big change, and I think a proper introduction is in order…

My name is Sabine Groven, I’m 28 years old and live in Bristol. I'm originally from Norway, but I moved to the UK in 2014 for university. It was during my undergrad in Film at Falmouth University that I fell in love with interviewing. I specialised in documentary filmmaking and learned the value of approaching someone with openness and curiosity, which led to wonderfully honest conversations. I decided to build on this and did an MA in Journalism at the University of the West of England. Since then, I’ve worked as a podcast producer and assistant editor before entering the experience space.

“I'm determined to ensure that women take centre stage in the conversations shaping our industry.”

My journey into CX began when I was appointed Editor of MyCustomer, a publication focused on customer experience, customer service, and marketing. With my experience in journalism, editorial work, project management, community building, and events, joining the Women in CX team feels like the perfect next step for me. It allows me to bring my skills together, working for an organisation whose values align with my own.

Women in CX has been making waves since its launch in March 2021, and I admire the safe space this community has created for all its members and contributors. From the get-go, Women in CX has dedicated itself to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment, challenging the status quo, and amplifying women's voices.

“Women in CX has been making waves since its launch in March 2021, and I admire the safe space this community has created for all its members and contributors.”

Moving forward, I aim to build on these foundations and continue the work that Women in CX is doing, taking it even further. In my role, I'm committed to delivering content that not only meets but exceeds your expectations. As we evolve into 'Women in CX: The Movement for Human-Centred Business,' I'm determined to ensure that women take centre stage in the conversations shaping our industry. But to make that happen, I need your input. Your stories, experiences, and visions for the future will be vital in crafting content that resonates with you and inspires others. Therefore, I'll invite you to share your thoughts, contribute content, and shape the agenda.

To the entire Women in CX community, thank you for welcoming me with open arms. I also want to say a huge thank you to Clare Muscutt, Meg Coates, and Harley Stabler for the opportunity. I'm excited about what we'll achieve together in 2024 and beyond.

Here’s to new beginnings…
